Gordy Fine Art and Framing Company offers expert design and craftsmanship for framing works of art and treasured family possessions, using the area’s largest selection of frame moldings, which includes our original hand-carved and gilded Artist Gold line. Owners Carl and Barbara Schafer have spent 25 years in the museum profession.  They purchased the business in 2015 from Brian and Genny Gordy, who started the company in 1989.  Our clients include museums, collectors, corporations, and individuals who know they can rely on us for high quality and timely service.

Our experienced staff also offers a broad range of related services — including placement of art in corporate spaces, construction of display mounts and pedestals for three-dimensional objects, and packing and crating of works of art and fragile items for shipment.  Art and antique appraisals round out our services and reporting methods follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

Gordy Fine Art and Framing Company is a leader in developing Muncie’s identity as a center for art and culture.  We represent regional artists in our gallery through monthly exhibitions.
